Description
This is a Murder Mystery game, made for a college class where we were tasked to make a puzzle game. In the game you play a detective who has received word of a gruesome murder at the Delta social media offices. The detective must now gather whatever evidence they can to find the killer between the two primary suspects.

Design Work
The level design consistent of two main areas of the game the first being the office space where the player starts then the secret occult room in the basement. For the main office space my methodology first had me make a clean office space to create a before that way I can mess it in a way that I could visualize the events of the story and destroy and knock over elements that made sense.
For the Occult room I wanted a shift the lighting from the office to make it feel a little more sinister in nature with a shift from the harsher bright white office lights to the more warmer flickering torch lights in the occult museum.
For my systems, I debated on creating a journal so the player can put the scene together on paper without relying on their memory to remember what they were able to put together. However I felt the game would become too easy to complete and decided to make the fact that you need to rely on your wits and memory to put together.
